Dr. Deborah Myers, ND

Dr. Myers is a board certified, Washington state licensed Naturopathic Physician (ND), Licensed Massage Practitioner (LMP) and health consultant specializing in the treatment of anxiety and depression, chronic pain and illness, and women's health issues.  She has been supporting patients in a thriving private practice in Bellevue since 2008.

Philosophy of Care

Dr. Myers is a compelling and gifted catalyst for personal growth and change, identifying core issues that block progress and empowering her patients to release self-limiting beliefs and practices so they can achieve their health goals.  With 10 years of experience supporting hospice patients and their extended families, she is uniquely qualified to see her patients through even the most challenging of life's transitions.

As an experienced practitioner of the contemplative arts including yoga and meditation, Dr. Myers teaches her patients to access and apply their own inner wisdom. She also uses her training in medical massage to draw awareness to the impact stress has on physical well-being.  She respects the intimate connection between body and mind, crafting treatment plans in partnership with her patients that address all aspects of health and wellness to guarantee their success.

Education and Experience

Dr. Myers earned her ND degree from Bastyr University, the leading naturopathic medical school in the country, in 2004.

After graduation she continued a personal commitment to end-of-life care, teaching guided meditation and imagery and providing massage therapy to hospice patients.  As a preceptor at Overlake Hospital's Senior Health Center, she also worked alongside MD's, studying integrative medicine and providing adjunctive care to patients 65 and better.  She wrote grants and educational content for web-based multimedia health programs and participated as a physician in health research studies before starting her own private practice in 2008.

In addition to her private practice, Dr. Myers acts as a consultant for organizations including managed care facilities dedicated to the health of the patients they serve, and corporations that want to support the physical and emotional well-being of their employees.  She facilitates support groups, offers presentations on preventive health care, successful aging and transformational change, and writes instructional and educational health materials for publication.
